A waveguide to coaxial adapter is an adapter that has a coaxial connector on one end and a waveguide flange on the other. They can be used to convert high-frequency waveguide signals to modules with coaxial interfaces. They are used with horn antennas and the signal needs to be converted from coaxial to waveguide interface in order to be transmitted through the horn antenna and vice versa.

When selecting a Waveguide to coaxial adapter, the connector type, gender and geometry for the coaxial connector need to be specified. And for the waveguide interface, the waveguide size and waveguide flange need to be specified. Both these depend on the specific requirement and the frequency band being used. The frequency supported will be based on the waveguide size and connector type.
Operating Frequency : 320MHz to 112GHz.

Geometry : Right Angle / End Launch

Connector Type (Waveguide Size) : optional WR10 – WR2300.( ‘WR’ means rectangular, and the number represents the size in inches.)

Connector Type (Coaxial) : optional SMA, N, 2.92mm, 2.4mm, 1.85mm, 1.0mm, 4.3-10 and 7/16 DIN with female, jack, male, male to female and plug genders.
CW Power : Offered 3 Watts, 50 Watts, 100watts, 300watts and Peak Power3000 Watts model.
